Who are your influences?-
My biggest influences are Bone Thugs N Harmony and 2Pac. My other influences are Eminem, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Da Brat, Wu-Tang and the whole mid-90s Hip-Hop/RnB Era.
When did you know you would become an artist?-
When people started telling me I was good at what I do.
How would you describe your style of music?-
Versatile. From the various ways I switch up my rhyme schemes and tempos to my song concepts and hooks, I just speak from the heart with it. I make beats as well as write songs so all of it is just my best forms of expression, U dig?
How is your music different from what we’ve been hearing lately?-
Lyricism and real shit is coming back to Hip-Hop. I’m a part of that movement. I make feel good music but everything ain’t a party and everybody ain’t got all the money these mfers on TV may have you thinking… I’m speaking to and for those of us still in the trenches grinding. Still saying “FUCK THE POLICE!!”… Still thuggin it until shit gets better for them. And the music I produce any and everybody will more than likely vibe to.
If there was anyone you could work with who would it be and why?-
I like a lot of the up and coming music I hear coming out now. There’s a young dude by the name of D-A-N-N-A out of Yonkers, NY that I would like to work exclusively with. He’s got some raw untapped potential that’s gonna turn shit up and I just wanna go along for the ride. There’s a few others I’m not gonna name but uh, I can’t wait to work with BTNH. That’s gonna be a dream come true!
Who are some artists you’ve worked with in the past?-
I’ve done minor work with a select few people in my neighborhood. I don’t really count it.
What should the fans expect?-
CONSISTENT GOOD FUCKING MUSIC. PERIOD!
